Live view is free. Detection modules are licensed per camera per month in three bands, priced by what they cost to run. Every licence includes AI credits, and you can add or remove modules as your sites change.

Enrol an edge node and add your cameras without buying anything. You pay only when you want AI to watch for something.

What needs a licence
Anything that calls an AI model needs at least one licensed module on the camera or site: event analysis, Night Guard patrols, the morning site report, scene memory and the assistant. A subscribed GPS tracker also unlocks the assistant.
AI credits
The allowance follows the modules.
Each module adds credits to its camera's monthly allowance: Core 150, Advanced 400, Specialist 800, with a floor of 500 credits per licensed camera. Credits beyond the allowance cost 0.4p each, and you can set a monthly AI budget cap so there are no surprises.

Event retention
Keep evidence as long as you need it.
KENAEZ keeps events, not continuous recordings: a still for every event and a short clip for warning and critical ones. Choose how long they are kept, per camera.

Evidence confirmed into a Retrace case is copied and kept with the case, independent of the camera's retention.
Billing questions
How buying KENAEZ works.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 14 days. We take a card at checkout but charge nothing until the trial ends, and we email you three days before it does. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
Is there a minimum spend?
A first subscription must come to at least £10 a month. Anything you add later has no minimum.
How am I billed?
Monthly, by card through Stripe. Modules switch on only once payment is confirmed, so an abandoned or declined checkout never leaves anything running. Modules added to an existing subscription are prorated onto your next invoice.
What is a seat?
Each module licence covers a number of cameras. You choose which cameras use it, and a module only runs on as many cameras as you have bought it for.
What if we use more AI than is included?
Extra credits cost 0.4p each. The AI Usage page shows usage per camera as it happens, and a monthly budget cap pauses AI analysis when it is reached, so the bill never runs away from you.
How are GPS trackers priced?
Per tracker per month, depending on the model. Billing starts only when a tracker is paired by pressing its own SOS button, never when a number is typed in. Ask us for a quote.
What happens if we cancel?
When an organisation closes its account, its data is deleted 30 days later, so there is time to export anything you need first. Ask us about anything specific to your contract.
