Every session starts with a written reason, recorded in the audit trail.
Prove it's you
A six-digit code is emailed to you, tied to your sign-in and to that computer, valid for ten minutes with five attempts.
Check the computer
The computer must present the certificate or host keys an admin trusted. Anything else is refused and admins are emailed.
Single use
The session opens with a ticket that lasts sixty seconds and works once. One live session per computer.
All four on
Organisation, site, edge node and computer must all allow it, and turning any one off ends sessions at once.
Ends, and is audited
Sessions end when idle, at their maximum length or when an admin ends them, and every one is kept in the audit log.
The site decides
The switch that matters is on site.
Remote access is off everywhere until someone turns it on. The edge node's own switch is set by a person signed in to its console on site, and nothing the cloud sends can change it.
- The edge node only relays to the addresses it has been allowed to reach
- Logins are typed at connect time by default; any stored ones are encrypted and never reach the browser
- Clipboard, drive sharing, printing and file transfer are switched off
- Sessions are not recorded
- Works on a phone or tablet, with touch controls built for it
- Guests, WhatsApp, external AI connections and the assistant can never open a session
Isolation
The part that reads screens holds no secrets
Screen data from a machine on someone else's network is untrusted input. The gateway that decodes it runs in its own container with no database access and no cloud credentials, and every connection, from the browser, the gateway and the edge node, dials in to KENAEZ, where the session is paired.
Who can connect
Your team, on the sites they can already see.
Any active member of your organisation who can see a site can request a session there. Owners and admins add computers, trust their identities, flip the switches and can end anyone's session.
Remote access is built and in final testing, and is not yet generally available. Ask us when it will reach your estate.
